Abstract

The chemical components of kapur (Dryobalanops aromatica) extracts were separated and quantified by a simple and rapid High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Eluting with ethylacetate : hexane (3:7) using Li Chrosorb Diol Silica gel column provided a clear separation of dipterocarpol, B-sitosterol, dryobalanone, w hydroxyfatty acid ferulate, kapurone and terpinylhydrate.
