Abstract

The yield of teak plantations established by taungya in the dry lowland rain forest area of Nigeria was assessed. The study involved the examination of the stand volume - age relationship for plantations ranging from 9 to 25 years in age. The teak plantations maintained a fairly linear increment pattern during the first 25 years, averaging 27 m3 ha1 y1.
