Abstract

The quality of seed production and seed viability are affected by insect infestations on tree stands and during storage. Infestation causes considerable economic losses. The major group of insect pests damaging flowers, fruits and seeds of various hosts in India and abroad are given in the present paper. Possible management practices are also discussed.
