Abstract

This study was taken up in Udayarpalayam Taluk of Tiruchirapalli district which is a dry tract of central Tamil Nadu. Out of one hundred selected farmers, only thirty-six were found to cultivate agricultural crops along with cashew and they were considered in this study. The study revealed that the farmer benefitted more from cashew cultivated under rainfed conditions than from the agricultural crops.
