TREE VOLUME, YIELD PREDICTION AND ECONOMIC ROTATION OF <em>AlBIZIA</em> <em>FALCATARIA</em> IN MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES

Abstract

One hundred and sixty-two temporary plots representing a wide range of site quality, stand density (spacing)and age of Albizia falcataria in Mindanao were established using point sampling method. Volume and yield equations for total merchantable timber, pulp timber and sawntimber were derived using multiple regression technique. Economic rotation was also determined. Results of validation .show that the models are valid when tested to estimate volume yield.
